About the Meriden Economic Development Corporation (MEDCO)

Formed in 1979, MEDCO was one of Connecticut’s first economic development corporations. Today, we work in conjunction with Meriden’s EDD and the Midstate Chamber of Commerce to create targeted, effective initiatives that address the City’s economic development priorities and promote its business community. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we’ve provided support to programs including the Daffodil Festival, the Olde Church Music Series, and the renovation and expansion of the public library.
